Day 2

Nothing too exciting on this day we were at sea all day. We pretty much wandered around the ship trying to figure out where things were at, we learned pretty quickly where they serve meals and the top of the ship where we could watch for whales. Keagen was a little frustrated since he didn't get to crawl around everywhere at home but learned he could climb on the furniture. That night was formal night so Kyle's brother took Keagen so we didn't have to worry about dealing with the kiddo while enjoying our meal with Kyle's parents.

Alaska Trip Day 1

I thought it would be easier doing a post for each day that way the pictures don't get bundled together. We had fantastic weather the day we set off on the ship I laughed when I saw everyone bundled in jackets and sweatshirts.... Didn't they look at the forcast where they were at? I was wearing a tanktop and the weather was about 70 perfect weather to hang out on top of the ship as we sail away from Seattle. After we got settled into out room we spent the rest of the evening hanging out on deck the weather wasn't cold so it was nice to enjoy the company and relax. Kyle's parents met us on the boat so the total Debenham party was 9 it was a lot of fun with everyone.

Seattle Trip

Before we headed to Alaska we decided to explore the city Seattle with Kyle's brothers family. It was alot of fun and definitely not like UT. We went on the Duck Tours that took us on a tour of the whole city and we literally saw a Starbucks on every corner I loved it! While in the water we saw where they filmed Sleepless in Seattle. We also went to the Space Needle which was so fascinating and nothing like I had seen before. We also went to Pike's Market but got there too late and just got pictures.(They closed at 7 and we got there @ 7:15 but we got Starbucks!) We ended the evening by going to the Crab's Pot which was featured on Man vs Food let me tell you the food was great what a better place to eat sea food then when you are by the ocean!

Jackson Hole 2011

Our first family trip to Jackson Hole was a lot of fun and very memorable. Kyle wanted to go and see the Elk refuge it was a little chilly only -6 degrees! We had Keagen bundled up and he didn't didn't make a peep while we went on the sleigh ride. There were a lot of Elk and I learned more then I have ever known about elk during that ride. For example I never knew that you could tell the age of a elk by how many rings there were on their teeth!

Christmas 2010

This year was a busy year and with a new addition was very exciting. We made the rounds to visit family we first started in Evanston and Keagen was able to hang out with his cousins. I have found it to be challenging to get all three kids to look at the camera and I still need practice to have them look at me. We then went to Idaho Falls so Keagen was able to meet his aunts and uncles. We all had a great time and by the end of Christmas Keagen was tuckered out!

Keagen October 23, 2010

After waiting nine months for the little guy to appear he finally came. I can't explain what an experince it was but hearing him cry brought tears to my eyes! He was so little that all the clothes I brought were too big! He was born a week before Halloween so I made sure to dress him up for the holiday.

Summer 2010

Last summer was very busy and exciting. Kyle's brother had a new addtion Lane who was born in the beginning of May. We were very excited since we were expecting a little one six months later. In the beginning of June we went to Flordia which was interesting and very different from UT. By the end of the month we went to Yellowstone and saw Old Faithful. While were were there we saw three bears this was the first time I had ever seen them and I've been going for 27 years so that was exciting. After that we went to Evanston where we got to see an actual firework show. I never realized what I was missing until I saw all the fun fireworks that are considered illegal in UT! It was the coldest 4th of July that I have ever been to but enjoyed every minute of it!
